First Post!!!!!

 

Why am I trying this? I don't know. I think it's my increasing hatred of Instagram and the crummy way it treats photographs in general. Or maybe Ctein stopping his blog, and Kirk Tuck stopping...a couple times got to me. 

It seems like the photography blog in general has fallen to the video format completely, but I still like to *read* things sometimes. Either way, I have more to say about all this than social media allows or wants. 

I like photography. A lot. I always have. I've been doing it a fairly long time (my first camera was a Kodak "disc" camera in 1989) and I suspect this may be just another outlet for sharing photographs and the occasional thought about them. Will I continue? I don't know that, either. Fun either way.

Irony: a grumpy old guy who likes "real" cameras who's first blog post is a weirdly exposed oversaturated shot from an Iphone. Hee.
